Changes to Newly Admitted Attorney Format Restrictions for
Skills CLE Credit& End of Temporary Nontraditional Format Approvals on January 1, 2026
Starting January 1, 2026, newly admitted attorneys (those in their first 2 years of practice) will no longer be able to earn skills credits by webinar (including Zoom programs). These credits must be completed in person or through fully interactive videoconference (VCNs) where everyone is physically seated together. Note: This applies only to Skills credits.
