Your opening statement is prepared, your witnesses are ready and your exhibits are marked, but what else do you need to know (and do) to prepare for and conduct your first day of trial. The Panel will cover issues relating to pretrial submissions, the Final Pretrial Conference, preparation for and effective use of courtroom technology, jury selection and opening statements. The Panel will also offer tips and other practical advice on navigating the first day of trial. (1.5 credits – Professional Practice)
