The New York State Unified Court System, Office of Public Affairs announces:
Application Deadline for Civil Service Exam -Court Interpreter-Spanish July 29, 2015

The civil service exam for Court Interpreter-Spanish will be offered statewide on September 19, 2015. Submit your online application by Wednesday, July 29, 2015.

New York State Court Interpreters speak languages from around the world. Court Interpreters translate court proceedings for people who appear in court and speak little or no English, or are deaf or hard of hearing.

E-Filing Training Available
FREE training sessions on the courts’ electronic filing system, NYSCEF, for July and August are open for registration at the E-Filing Resource Center. Some sessions are offered online. Through NYSCEF, documents to initiate a court case can be filed online, from anywhere, at any time, on any day even when the courts are closed. Lawyers and individuals who do not have legal representation (unrepresented litigants) can register for training.
