On July 16, the FCBA Criminal Practice Committee will hold a Zoom CLE on asset forfeiture and restitution, combined with criminal practitioner happy hours in Albany and Syracuse (5:00 pm).
Course Summary: Attendees will gain a practical understanding of how the U.S. Attorney’s Office approaches restitution, as well as administrative and judicial forfeiture, in criminal cases.
Panelists: Panelists will include Assistant U.S. Attorneys Elizabeth Conger and Melissa Rothbart of the U.S. Attorney’s Office’s Asset Recovery Unit. Panelists will also include a defense attorney and representatives from the U.S. Marshals Service and the U.S. Probation Office.
Moderated by Assistant U.S. Attorney Ben Clark.
