This program will cover 1) Military and Civilian Ethical Standards—Confidentiality, Loyalty, and Candor to the Client; and (2) an Overview on Veterans’ Access to Justice Issues. Lunch is included.
Part I of this program will cover selected topics comparing and contrasting the New York Rules of Professional Conduct with the U.S. Army of Professional Conduct for Lawyers on selected topics including confidentiality, disclosure obligations, candor before tribunals, and duty of loyalty. Part II of the program will discuss issues impacting veterans’ access to justice and available legal resources
