This CLE Program will provide information on a range of deposition-related topics, with an emphasis on careful preparation, tips for focused questioning and guidance on making conscientious objections. The CLE will also cover ethical considerations and the boundaries of zealous advocacy during depositions and provide valuable insight from the bench on the appropriateness of court intervention during depositions.

The Disciplined Deposition: Tips for Taking a Deposition in a Federal Court Proceeding has been approved in accordance with the requirements of the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board for 1.5 credits (1.0 Professional Practice Credits; 0.5 Ethics Credits)
