The NDNY-FCBA CLE Committee presents a CLE program, “Northern District of New York – Pilot Mediation Program”, at the James M. Hanley U.S. Federal Building and Courthouse, 100 South Clinton Street, Syracuse, New York on Thursday, April 3, 2014.
The Northern District of New York has been deemed a congested court by the Judicial Conference Committee on Case Administration and Case Management. As a result, the Northern District of New York has implemented a new Pilot Mandatory Mediation Program. This CLE course will discuss the mediation program and the court’s expectations in detail, as well as to answer any questions regarding compliance, alternative mediation methods, and requests for exemptions. The presenters for this program are: United States Chief Magistrate Judge David E. Peebles and Michael J. Sciotti, Esq., Hiscock & Barclay, LLP.
