The United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit is looking for greater NDNY representation on both its Pro Bono and CJA Panels.
Attorneys selected for the Pro Bono Panel are assigned to represent pro se appellants with meritorious or complex appeals. The Second Circuit is now accepting applications to join the panel; more information, as well as the application, can be found here.
Attorneys selected for the CJA Panel are assigned to represent criminal appellants who qualify for court-appointed counsel. The Second Circuit will be reviewing CJA applications early next year; for reference, last year’s application can be found here.
