SU College of Law to Host US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit for In-Person Oral Arguments

The United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit will hold oral arguments at the College of Law on March 28 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The oral arguments are free and open to the public. Seating is limited. The court session will be held in the Melanie Gray Ceremonial Courtroom in Dineen Hall at 950 Irving Avenue.

CLE: Local Rules 101: An Introduction to the Nuts & Bolts of Federal Practice in the NDNY – April 9, 2025

This program will introduce attorneys, particularly those in the first three years of practice or who do not practice regularly in federal court, to the nuts and bolts of practicing in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York by focusing on the District’s Local Rules of Practice, which supplement the Federal Rules of Civil and Criminal Procedure and often determine the course, if not outcome, of litigation.
